GAZA, March 2 (UPI) -- Islamic Hamas is criticizing the Palestinian Broadcasting Satellite channel for conducting interviews with Israeli officials this week.

Hamas said Wednesday it views the interviews as a move toward "normalization with the (enemy) in the time that the crimes of its military occupation continue against our people."

Gaza Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri told reporters, "Israel denies the Palestinians' rights, postpones releasing prisoners and continues imposing (difficulties) on the Palestinians to break their steadfastness."

He added, "What increases the condemnation of the action is that the PBS and Palestine TV do not interview the chiefs and leaders of the Palestinian factions and prevent them to show on their platforms."

He called on the PBS "to stop such issues in the future and to work on not to interview these occupiers who occupied our lands."
