Canada body-parts murder victim identified

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Federal agents in San Francisco say they have broken what they described Tuesday as a major drug ring with direct ties to Mexican traffickers.
Justice Department officials told reporters 15 people had been arrested and $2 million worth of drugs seized in the operation code-named "El Trebol."
The ring was allegedly run by a Mexican national named Jose Isis-Carbrera and dealt in heroin and cocaine that was obtained from Mexico on credit.
U.S. Attorney Kevin Ryan said the seizures were the largest heroin seizures ever made in the Bay Area.
