KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Indonesia is in the midst of completing the master plan for the reconstruction of tsunami-hit Aceh, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said.

"Hopefully, by the middle or end of March, the work could be completed and we would inform Malaysia," he said Monday at a joint press conference with Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the Malaysian news agency Bernama reported.

Yudhoyono was in Malaysia on the first stop of a familiarization tour of the Asian region after gaining the presidency in October. Tuesday he was scheduled to arrive in Singapore to meet with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and other senior Cabinet members.

The Indonesian president said he hoped the Malaysian private sector would soon follow up on its commitment to develop Indonesia's infrastructure facilities.
