SILOVO, Serbia, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Serbian President Boris Tadic began Sunday a two-day official visit to Kosovo, the BBC reported.
Tardic is the first Serb leader to make an official visit the province since the 1999 NATO bombing campaign against Serbia. He will meet with international officials in the capital, Pristina.

Kosovo, officially still a part of Serbia, is run by the international community.
Experts have said the visit could be critical, as talks on the future status of the province could take place within months.
