RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Iraqi Interior Minister Falah al-Nakib has revealed that 18 members of Lebanon's Shiite militant group Hezbollah were arrested in Iraq for terrorism.

The Saudi daily al-Hayat Wednesday quoted the minister as saying, "18 Lebanese from Hezbollah were arrested in Iraq on charges of terrorism."

There was no immediate comment from Hezbollah on Nakib's revelations, made on the sidelines of the international conference on terrorism which closed Tuesday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
