Alcohol on breath halts Vegas flight

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- An Air Tran pilot has been suspended for allegedly reporting for duty in Las Vegas while under the influence of alcohol.

KLAS-TV, Las Vegas, said a security screener stopped pilot Oliver Reason Thursday as he attempted to board his flight from Vegas to Atlanta, allegedly with alcohol on his breath.

A breathalyzer test indicated Reason had a blood-alcohol level above the FAA's limit of .04

The flight was canceled and passengers re-booked for a later departure.
