KIEV, Ukraine, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Ukrainian President-elect Viktor Yushchenko Wednesday discussed future appointments to his new government, Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported.

Yushchenko, who won the rerun of Ukraine's second round election run-off against Viktor Yanukovych, held talks with Socialist Party leader Oleksandr Moroz, Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Chairman Anatoliy Kinakh and the leadership of the Our Ukraine parliamentary group, the president-elect's Web site reported.

Moroz and Kinakh ran for president against Yushchenko in the first round of the elections, but supported him in the second round and its rerun on Dec. 26.
