PHUKET, Thailand, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- The grandson of Thailand's king was among those killed after tsunami waves smashed into the Thai resort island of Phuket.

Bhumi Jensen, 21, the son of Princess Ubolratana and her estranged American husband, was holidaying with his mother at the time. His body was found at the resort of Khao Lak in Phang Nga province about 300 feet from where he was last seen jet skiing before the waves hit on Sunday.

Two friends who were with Jensen were still missing Monday, although his four bodyguards survived.

Media reports said the princess was safe.
