NORFOLK, England, Dec. 25 (UPI) -- A group of British fathers'rights protesters were arrested Saturday before a planned stunt on the queen's Sandringham estate.

Police in Norfolk, England, said activists from Fathers 4 Justice were arrested trying to climb the spire of St. Mary Magdalene's Church where Queen Elizabeth II was to attend a Christmas Day parade, the BBC reported.

Eight men were arrested on the periphery of the estate and charged with breach of the peace offenses, a Norfolk police spokesman said.
