The young woman had been missing since Dec. 4, the Charleston Gazette said Tuesday.

She is the granddaughter of Jack Whittaker, who claimed $113 million in a December 2002 Powerball draw, and has made headlines for various offenses and lawsuits since.

He reported his granddaughter missing Dec. 9.

State Police trooper S.E. Wolfe told the newspaper the young woman did not die where she was found, and the case is not being treated as a homicide.

However, the newspaper said there is widespread belief in the neighborhood the girl, who had a history of drug use, died of an overdose.

No one has been arrested in Bragg's death, and Putnam County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Sorsaia said he will decide what, if any, charges should be filed.
