A Navy destroyer joined Coast Guard aircraft and vessels in souring 270 square miles centered about 30 miles off Point Loma.

In the meantime, the search for a woman who may have fallen from a cruise ship off Ensenada, Mexico was also terminated.

KNBC-TV in Los Angeles said the disappearance was turned over to the FBI for further investigation.

The unidentified passenger failed to show up for dinner aboard the Carnival Pride Saturday night and could not be located anywhere on the ship.
