China air show to begin

BEIJING, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Thirty-two countries and regions are scheduled to participate in the Fifth China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition Monday in Zhuhai, China.

The biennial event will feature exhibitions, trade negotiations, academic exchanges and stunt flights, according to China's Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.

The seven-day show will feature flying teams from Britain, France, Russia and China.

Overseas aviation giants, such as Boeing and Airbus, are scheduled to attend the show as well as aviation and space firms from the Untied States, France, Germany, Russia and Italy.

An aerospace summit is also scheduled for Sunday and Monday.
