PARIS, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- French police arrested Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi's son for speeding, but he claimed diplomatic immunity and was released.
Moutassim Gadhafi, 39, was clocked doing 70 mph on the Champs-Elysees in his Porsche, Britain's Sun reported. He also was accused of running red lights.

The traffic stop prompted a clash between police officers and Gadhafi's bodyguards. One officer was hurt.
