Stand collapses at festival, three trapped

LINCOLNSHIRE, England, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Three people trapped Sunday after a stand collapsed Sunday at a religious festival in Lincolnshire, England, have been freed.

The BBC reported that none of the injuries were life threatening.

About 12 people suffered minor injuries and four had serious injuries from the collapse. The tent was evacuated by firefighters following the incident at the Grapevine 2004 festival.

Police said it was not clear why the stand gave way.
