McGreevey accuser insists he is not gay

NEW YORK, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Golan Cipel, the "other man" in New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey's extramarital affair, insists he is not gay and considered suing McGreevey for harassment.

"He hit on me over and over. I got to a point where I was afraid to stay with him alone. Think about how scary it is when we are talking about a powerful man like the governor of the State of New Jersey," said Cipel.

Allen Lowy, Cipel's attorney, added: "There were numerous sexual assaults, physical contacts, which were forced on Golan," who is lying low in New York City, the New York Daily News reported.

Lowy alleged McGreevey began forcing himself on Cipel after he hired Cipel to head the state's homeland security team but Cipel failed to report his boss for fear of losing his job.
