NEW YORK, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- JetBlue Airways announced Friday it would not charge Florida passengers who changed their reservations to avoid Hurricane Charley.
The discount airline will waive differences in fares and the $25 surcharge for changed reservations for passengers scheduled to fly into or out of Fort Myers, Tampa or Orlando Friday or Saturday, allowing them to postpone travel until Tuesday to avoid the extreme weather expected from Hurricane Charley and Tropical Storm Bonnie.
Flight status and availability can be checked at JetBlue.com or by calling (800) JET-BLUE.
