MONTREAL, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- In a book set for release this fall, the daughters of one of Canada's most gifted, and notorious, boxers say he sexually assaulted them for years.

"A Heart with a Black Eye" describes how former Canadian boxing star David Hilton Jr. sexually assaulted his two daughters, even forcing them to compete sexually for his favor as he took them along when he toured the country to fight, the Globe and Mail reported Friday.

Hilton is serving a seven-year sentence on sex charges in a federal penitentiary in Quebec. He was eligible for parole last fall, but waived his right. His next parole hearing is in September.

Hilton maintains his innocence and has refused therapy in prison.

The book by Jeannie and Anne Marie Hilton is due out in French this October on Montreal's Les Intouchables imprint.

The sisters, as well as their mother, now live in the United States.
