BOSTON, July 29 (UPI) -- Former New York Rep. Elizabeth Holtzman has joined a team of lawyers to bump Ralph Nader off of state ballots.

They have so far suceeded in Arizona, South Carolina and just this week, New Jersey, said New York Rep. Louise Slaughter, Democratic Chair of the Congressional Women's Caucus Leadership at a women's caucus rally at the Democratic National Convention.

Democratic strategists for presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts remain concerned that Nader's independent Third Party candidacy could tilt several crucial states to President George W. Bush on Nov. 2 and spell the difference between victory and defeat for him.

Earlier this week, Democratic pollster and infleuntial strategist Stanley Greenberg told a Democratic briefing that the so-called "Nader Factor" could tilt Nevada and West Virginia into the GOP column
