SALT LAKE CITY, July 23 (UPI) -- Police in Salt Lake City are still unwilling to say that a missing woman was abducted or the victim of foul play.
Lori Hacking's husband, Mark, reported her missing Monday, saying his pregnant wife went out jogging and never returned. He was hospitalized Tuesday after his brother found him outside a motel with no clothes on, ABC News reported.
CNN reported Friday police have confiscated a box spring from the Hacking's apartment. But investigators have so far declined to identify Mark Hacking as a suspect in any crime.
The couple had been planning to move to North Carolina, where Mark Hacking told his family he had been accepted at medical school. But he said this week that he lied.
Both Mark Hacking's brother and his wife's father have told reporters they believe he loved his wife too much to hurt her.
