Canada body-parts murder victim identified

TOKYO, July 20 (UPI) -- Former Japanese Prime Minister Zenko Suzuki died Tuesday at the age of 93 from pneumonia, the family said.
Suzuki led Japan from July 1980 to October 1982 when he decided not to run in the Liberal Democratic Party's leadership election. He was succeeded by Yasuhiro Nakasone.
Suzuki was strongly opposed to high tax rates, and he tried to improve Japan's finances without increasing taxes when he was prime minister.
"He staked his political career on the promotion of administrative and fiscal reforms," said Nakasone shortly after the announcement of Suzuki's death.
