BONNY LAKE, Wash., July 14 (UPI) -- Funeral services will be held Saturday for a Washington state woman and her three children killed Wednesday in a horrifying murder-suicide.
Pierce County sheriff's officials said Antigone Allen will be buried on her 19th birthday along with the three children who were doused with gasoline and set ablaze by her estranged boyfriend who died along with them in a pasture east of Tacoma.
Witnesses in Bonny Lake told KOMO-TV in Seattle they heard a car plow into the field around 1 a.m. and watched in shock as Allen and Genario Garcia stumbled from the burning car and continued to struggle with each other even though their clothing was ablaze.
Neighbors in the area were unable to get to the victims because they were blocked by an electrified livestock fence; however they told KOMO Allen was able to tell them that Garcia had started the fire.
