Man charged with threatening bomb

TOKYO, July 2 (UPI) -- A Tokyo man was arrested Friday for calling in a threat to blow up the Japanese House of Representatives, Kyodo News Service reports.

Police said Yuji Tsushima became a suspect after the call to Nippon Television Network May 14th was traced to his cell phone.

More than 100 security guards checked the two houses of the Legislature after NTV notified officials of the call, but found nothing.
