When the flight returned to Munich, the man attempted to flee, but was captured by police.

No bomb was found on the plane and none of its 150 passengers was injured.

The man who made the threat, who authorities said has no connection to terrorist groups, told interrogators marital problems drove him to stop the plane.

The suspect lives in Ingolstadt, Germany, while his wife lives in Hamburg. He had boarded the plane to return to Turkey, but changed his mind once it took off.
