Juror bounced from Peterson trial

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., June 23 (UPI) -- The juror removed from Scott Peterson's murder trial says prosecutors haven't done much to prove the case against the California fertilizer salesman.

Justin Falconer was removed from the jury amid a media furor over his brief exchange with the brother of the alleged victim, Peterson's wife, Laci.

Falconer's removal offered a unique look at the progress of the high-profile case currently under way in Redwood City.

Falconer said Wednesday in his opinion, Stanislaus County prosecutors had not yet scored many points in the early stages of testimony.

The loquacious juror denied doing anything improper and said he had been removed because of the uproar over what he described as an innocent greeting to Laci's brother.
