Bush 'honored' to speak at Reagan service

SAVANNAH, Ga., June 10 (UPI) -- President Bush Thursday thanked the Group of Eight for their condolences for the late President Ronald Reagan.

"Ronald Reagan was a great man, an historic leader, and a national treasure," he said. "I'm honored to speak tomorrow at the memorial service on behalf of a grateful nation."

Bush also said he would "reflect" on ways to honor Reagan who died Saturday at age 93. Bush will speak at the late president's funeral in Washington Friday.
