Bush camp creates living Reagan memorial

June 8, 2004 at 1:43 PM   |   Comments

WASHINGTON, June 8 (UPI) -- The Bush-Cheney re-election Web site was updated Tuesday to include an online living memorial to Ronald Reagan, who died Saturday.

Reagan's passing, campaign chairman Marc Racicot said in an e-mail message to Bush supporters and activists, has created a time when "our nation remembers the historic accomplishments of our 40th president."

Racicot's message issues an invitation for people to share their thoughts and memories in an online tribute to Reagan, who died of complications related to Alzheimers' disease at the age of 93.

The tribute page is located at GeorgeWBush.com/Reagan.
