SHANGHAI, April 28 (UPI) -- Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing said Wednesday China will make efforts with the international community to reinforce the role of the United Nations.

Li told a news conference following the 60th session of the U.N. Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, that letting the United Nations play its role in multilateral affairs would conform to the interests of all sides, Xinhua News Service reported.
