French hostage released

BAGHDAD, April 14 (UPI) -- The French television network Capa reports one of its reporters held hostage in Iraq but has been freed.

Alexandre Jourdanov, 45, a French national, was among 40 foreigners kidnapped in recent days by Iraqi insurgents. France has been urging its nationals to leave Iraq because of the deteriorating situation, CNN reported.
