LONDON, April 1 (UPI) -- Britain's Prince William was reportedly irritated Thursday at the publication of photos of him and a girl said to be his girlfriend.
"Finally ... Wills gets a girl," The Sun tabloid said Thursday, in conjunction with photos of the prince and his roommate at a Swiss ski resort.
CNN reported the photos violate the prince's agreement with the media, which stated the prince was to be left alone following an official photo session with him and his father. Photographs of William are published once a school term in exchange for privacy.
In an editorial, The Sun said the pictures were published in the public interest and William is a mature adult.
"One of William's girlfriends could become queen one day. Her subjects will be entitled to know all about her," it said.
