Priest murdered in Uganda

GULU, Uganda, March 31 (UPI) -- The body of a Roman Catholic priest assigned to a missionary community in Gulu, Uganda, was found Wenesday with a slashed throat.

Local officials told the U.N. Integrated Regional Information Network Father Luciano Fulvi was apparently killed by an assailant who forcibly entered the Italian priest's home. Students from the missionary school found the body.

Missionary officials said they believe the killing was most likely the work of a thief
