Woman skydiver in Australia dies

CONNAWARRE, Australia, March 14 (UPI) -- A 24-year-old Melbourne, Australia, woman, who was an experienced parachutist, died after falling more than 13,000 feet Sunday near Connawarre, Australia.

The unidentified womanwas said to be on her 200th jump when the incident occurred.

A police spokeswoman confirmed the woman's main parachute, which was understood to have been her own, appeared to become entangled with the emergency chute, The Australian reported.
