GOP lawmaker joins 8th Cong. District race

WASHINGTON, March 3 (UPI) -- GOP Washington State Sen. Luke Esser has joined the race to succeed retiring U.S. Rep. Jennifer Dunn, R-Wash., in the state's 8th Congressional District.

Esser, who was in 2003, said Tuesday he was running because he want to create more jobs and help fight terrorism.
