Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

WASHINGTON, March 3 (UPI) -- There are 370 U.S. Marines now in Haiti with the total force expected to grow to 900, the civilian chief of the Navy said Wednesday.
Navy Secretary Gordon England told the Senate Armed Services Committee he expects the Marines, which are in charge of a five-member international stability force, to return to the United States in about three months.
"So in the next 90 days, our Marines will be back in Camp Lejeune. But obviously, it depends on how things work out and the kind of support we have from our friends and allies," England said.
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said this week he hopes the Marines can hand off command of the multinational force sooner than that.
