Asian Aerospace does record business

, Singapore, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Asian Aerospace -- a combination trade and air show -- is ending this weekend in Singapore to rave reviews.

Aviation contracts signed during this year's event have reportedly surpassed $3.5 billion and the show's organizers said they were also confident a public attendance record will have been set when the show closes Sunday, reported Channel News Asia.

"I think if you go around and ask the exhibitors, like Bell Helicopters, they closed 20 million U.S. dollars worth of deals just at this show alone. That's an impressive number," said Ed Ng, president of Asian Aerospace.
