Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

ATLANTA, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Responding to public outcry, Georgia State education officials are reconsidering an earlier decision omitting the theory of evolution from textbooks.
Under the agreement announced Thursday, the officials will consider reinstating both the evolution and so-called "big bang" scientific theories, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported.
The earlier decision to omit them was contained in an initial draft released in January by state Schools Superintendent Kathy Cox.
The state school board will discuss the entire science curriculum package in May.
