Lebanon's Hezbollah warns Israel

BEIRUT, Lebanon, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- The Hezbollah terrorist group Sunday warned Israel against trying to violate Lebanese territories or airspace, saying the resistance would repel them.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah told a gathering in Jebsheet in southern Lebanon his group had the right to "plant devices on the roads that Israel uses to get" to Lebanon.

He said "any Israeli soldier that sets foot on Lebanese land, even if one inch, will bear responsibility for the consequences."

While Nasrallah said his group did not have the capabilities of countering Israeli jets flying over Lebanon, he insisted "we reserve the right to seek a day when we can prevent any Israeli air violations, even at the height of 20 kilometers."

The Shiite resistance leader urged the Lebanese and Arabs to be "cautious from the Israeli enemy, for this enemy does not need pretexts (to attack) and we cannot dismiss it."

Nasrallah said his group would not "abandon resistance through threats of murder and we will continue to resist and protect it with our skulls."
