LOS ANGELES, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Police searched a house of an associate of singer Michael Jackson and have search warrants pending for two other locations, it was reported Sunday.
Police Saturday seized computers, files and contracts from the home of Marc Schaffel, a music producer who worked with Jackson on a song commemorating Sept. 11 victims, according to City News Service, Xinhua reported from Los Angeles.
Local media reports also identified Schaffel as a producer of gay porn videos and said he has been one of Jackson's closest confidantes, Xinhua reported.
The search was conducted by police from Santa Barbara County, where Jackson has been charged with child molestation, not Los Angeles County in which the house is located, the report said.
Police would not say if the search was related to the Jackson investigation. Search warrants are pending for two other houses, that of a cameraman who photographed the child and Jackson together, and an employee of Schaffel.
Jackson is free on a $3 million bond and has denied the allegations.
