UTICA, N.Y., Jan. 18 (UPI) -- There's no clear front-runner in the latest Zogby poll of likely participants in Monday's Iowa caucuses for the Democratic U.S. presidential nomination.
Pollster John Zogby said it appeared former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean's support had "bottomed out," although he remained popular among the youngest voters and the most liberal.
Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., held a statistically insignificant advantage over Dean, with Rep. Richard Gephardt, D-Mo., and Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., nipping at their heels.
"Anything can happen," Zogby said.
In the latest poll, Kerry held the lead with 24 percentage points, followed by Dean with 23 points, Gephardt with 19 and Edwards with 18, Zogby said.
With an margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percentage points, "all four could emerge with bragging rights," Zogby said.
Ten percent of the 502 polled were still undecided, and the other Democratic candidates for president had less than 3 percentage points.
