Poll: Almost half in U.S. creationist

SEOUL, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- South Korean President Roh Moo Hyun's former political opponent said Monday he is willing to go to prison for receiving $42 million in illegal funds.
The Korea Times said Lee Hoi-chang of the conservative Grand National Party made the offer as part of an admission that his presidential campaign against Roh had received millions in illegal funds.
Speaking after Roh vowed to resign if his camp was found to have received more than one-tenth of the illegal funds his opponent had taken, Lee admitted the illegal funds transfer and issued his offer.
"I will shoulder the entire burden and go to prison," Lee said, while requesting leniency for people who helped him and contributed to his campaign.
