Disney roller coaster in Japan derails

CHIBA, Japan, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- A roller coaster derailed Friday at Tokyo Disneyland's "Space Mountain," but no injuries were reported.

Officials at Oriental Land Co., which operates the rollercoaster in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, said that the Space Mountain roller coaster derailed about 30 feet from its final destination shortly after 10 a.m., the Mainichi Daily News reported.

As the coaster was running at a slow speed, no major damage was reported.
