Saudis arrest 10 terror suspects

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Saudi Arabia's security forces have arrested at least 10 suspected militants in various parts of the kingdom, Arab News reported Monday.

The arrested included "a very dangerous" person, security sources said. Some of them were allegedly linked to the al-Qaida terrorist network, it said.

However, the detainees did not include those who ordered the Nov. 8 bombing of the Al-Muhaya Compound in Riyadh.

Interior Minister Prince Naif, meanwhile, reiterated Saudi Arabia's determination to stamp out terrorism.

"The Kingdom has the power to stop those who try to tamper with its security," he said while addressing a function in Makkah on Sunday.
