U.S. citizens in Jordan cautioned

AMMAN, Jordan, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- The U.S. embassy in Jordan issued a caution Saturday to U.S. citizens living in the kingdom to take precautions against possible terror attacks.

An embassy statement urged U.S. citizens to take extra caution while traveling around and avoid public transport and crowded places such as shopping centers, restaurants and pubs.

The warning reflected growing U.S. fears of terrorist attacks against its citizens and interests in several countries of the Middle East where anti-U.S. sentiments are increasing due to U.S. occupation of Iraq and its pro-Israeli policies.
