Canada body-parts murder victim identified
CAIRO, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Egyptian military officials have reported deployment of a new, advanced surface-to-air missile to ensure instant detection and response to enemy air strikes.
The chief of Egypt's air defense command, Lt. Gen. Sami Annan, told a recent news conference his unit has introduced into service an advanced anti-aircraft missile as part of project to upgrade air defense batteries.
Middle East Newsline said Annan did not identify the new surface-to-air missile, but described it as a light mobile missile that can be rapidly deployed and operated.
