GAZA CITY, Gaza, July 17 (UPI) -- A militant Palestinian group wants Yasser Arafat to dismantle the elected government, Ha'aretz reported Thursday.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs` Brigades demanded Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat make the move and put an end to security coordination with Israel.

The Al-Aqsa Brigades, an offshoot of Arafat's Fatah, published the demand in the Al-Shark Al Awsat newspaper.

The militant group specifically targeted Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas and Minister for Security Affairs Mohammed Dahlan, demanding that Abbas' government be dismantled.

Meanwhile, police and the Israel Defense Forces arrested three Palestinians near Hebron Thursday for throwing stones and firebombs.

Overnight, troops arrested seven Palestinians in the Jenin refugee camp, Nablus, Ramallah and Hebron, Israel Radio reported.

Palestinians fired at Israeli forces near the Neve Dekalim settlement in the Gaza Strip overnight. There were no injuries.
