LONDON, July 16 (UPI) -- The twelve-year-old British schoolgirl whose escapade with a former U.S. Marine sparked an international manhunt has returned to her home.
British police officials said they are now seeking the extradition of her online "boyfriend", 31-year-old former Marine Toby Studabaker, who has been arrested in Frankfurt, Germany.
ChannelNewsAsia said a year-long affair in an Internet chatroom led them to flee Britain for a five-day escapade round Europe.
Studabaker later said the child had presented herself as being 19 and he had believed her.
British police told the BBC Shevaun, who flew back to Manchester from Stuttgart, was found alone.
Studabaker was being held in Germany for alleged abduction under an international warrant. German police officials indicated officers found child pornography downloaded in his computer.
British police said they will request Studabaker be extradited to stand trial in Britain.
