Don King's bodyguard sues Mike Tyson

NEW YORK, July 13 (UPI) -- A bodyguard for boxing promoter Don King has filed suit against Mike Tyson, claiming the former heavyweight champion punched him in the face.

The suit, filed in Palm Beach Friday, claims bodyguard Isadore Bolton was escorting Tyson and his entourage in Florida on May 3 when the incident occurred, The New York Daily News reported Sunday.

The suit says Bolton lost track of Tyson's car on Interstate 95 and when he doubled back to find him, Tyson was standing in the median.

Tyson walked over the Bolton's car and punched him twice in the face, breaking a bone above his left eye, the newspaper said.

Bolton's attorneys said the incident was not immediately reported because Bolton did not want to embarrass Tyson or King.

The suit seeks compensatory damages of at least $15,000, but attorneys said punitive damages could drive the price tag much higher.
