Peck's former publicist said a public mass will be conducted in Los Angeles' new 3,000 seat Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels with a eulogy by Brock Peters, Peck's co-star in "To Kill a Mockingbird." Peck won an Oscar for his portrayal of Atticus Finch in the film.

Peck died on Thursday at age 82.

On Monday, the cable Turner Classic Movies channel will kick off an 11-hour tribute to Peck including such classics as "Moby Dick" and "The Yearling."

Beloved by stars and fans alike, Peck would frequently refer to advice Walter Huston had given him early in his career: "Give 'em a good show, and always travel first class."
