Pakistan wants to resume Indian talks

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, June 9 (UPI) -- Pakistan says India is delaying peace talks between the two countries and should immediately resume unconditional dialogue.

The Press Trust of Indian reported Monday Pakistan is urging the Indian leadership to "put its act together and speak in one voice." Pakistan officials said they are upset about hearing of internal Indian dissension about the normalization of relations.

Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesman Masood Khan said the Pakistani leadership has been "very constructive, forward looking and positive" in the approach toward resumption of talks. But he added, "unfortunately, we haven't seen the same sort of tone from Indian leadership."
