Suicide bomb kills four in Kabul

KABUL, Afghanistan, June 7 (UPI) -- Four German soldiers were killed and dozens of others injured in a suicide attack in Kabul Saturday, The Washington Times reported.

The car bomb exploded near a bus of international peacekeepers that was traveling near a base used by German and Dutch troops.

In addition to the four deaths reported by the BBC, at least seven of the peacekeepers aboard the bus were seriously injured along with some Afghan civilians near the explosion. They were all taken to a military hospitals for medical treatment.

The soldiers were enroute to an airport for the trip home after a six-month stay in Afghanistan
