Canada body-parts murder victim identified

TEHRAN, June 6 (UPI) -- An Iranian cleric Friday accused the United States of planning to destroy Islamic values in the Muslim world.
The Islamic Republic News Agency reported Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani addressed thousands of worshipers at the Tehran University campus at Friday prayers.
"The reason why the United States wishes to confront Islam is that the Islamic faith is fully integrated with politics but the American policy makers should bear in mind that Islam has revived today and the Islamic societies are fully conscious and alert," Emami Kashani said.
He told his listeners the United States wished to impose its culture on Muslims, but the faithful should stand together against American values.
